Mike Tyson respectfully abused Vijay Deverakonda on the sets of 'Liger'

The' Liger' platoon has had a packed schedule before the release of the film on Thursday( August 25). 

Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda, along with the rest of the cast, went all out to promote the movie. 

During a promotional event, the actor revealed that the former boxing champion and hisco-star Mike Tyson addressed him' hypercritically' with abuses, which he was too coy to partake with the media. He further added that he'd a awful time with the world heavyweight champion prizefighter on the sets of' Liger'. 

" He abused me a lot, albeit hypercritically, in English and I can not indeed repeat what he said to me. But yes, I had a good time with him," Vijay was quoted as telling the media during an commerce. 

During the media commerce, Deverakonda participated that the celebrated American prizefighter has the same diet as Bollywood actress Ananya Panday, who's playing the womanish lead in the movie opposite the 33- time-old. 

Panday, who was last seen in Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi- starrer' Gehraiyaan', said that she formed a good bond with Tyson and learnt' noway say no to anything' from him. 

Participating Tyson's love for Indian food, music and people, Deverakonda said that crowded places in India dread the boxing legend the most. 

" He loves India a lot for its food, music and people. In fact, he used to ask us to bring Indian food for him which he enjoyed a lot. But yes, he's spooked of the crowd then. Once he came then and stayed only in the hostel, as he was spooked of the crowd that gathers at the field or any other place," said the' Arjun Reddy' star. 

This is not the first time Deverakonda has participated his affection for the prizefighter. Last November, the actor took to Instagram to partake an image of himself with Tyson, and identified it," This man is love." 

In his post, he also said he'll always cherish this one memory with Tyson. Every moment I'm making recollections! And this bone will ever be special. #Liger Vs The Legend. When I came face to face with Iron," his post concluded. 

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the sports- action film features Deverakonda as the nominal MMA fighter prizefighter. 

'Liger' was released across India in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
